To be a good fit for the Service Technician opportunity, you will have MOST of the following:

• ASE Certification or completion of an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair. Quick question for you - click here
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician, preferred.
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment and lift operation.
• The ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
• The ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
• A valid driver's license.
• Experience with electric and/or hybrid vehicles is a plus.

As a Service technician, you will:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive transmissions and related systems.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
